2016 Measure Impact Not Change

fist of impact

Happy 2016!

As many of us wake up we begin to think of the changes we are going to make, commit, and perform in the following year. I personally have never really understood this annual process.

I feel it is imperative to reflect on our past. I believe each morning is a new beginning, with a new set of challenges waiting to be defined, and that being in the present enables the gift of change.

Instead I prefer to consider the impact I am going to make in the following days, weeks, months, and year. The impact can be measured in countless ways, but I focus on 4 metrics:

Patients, Physicians, Projects, and Partnerships.

I partner with hospitals, large integrated networks, medical technology companies, insurance, and governments to help them focus on the work that matters. Together we scope the project and then move to the fun:

Identifying patient experts to help define the obstacles, collaborate with physicians to understand their barriers, and co-create an ideal healthcare.

A healthcare world connecting patients and physicians.

Where the right impact happens for the right person, at the right time, in the right space, and for all the right reasons. (the 5 fingers that make a fist of impact)

How will you measure your impact in 2016?
